8amet — Privacy Policy

8amet (“the app”) is an online board game for traditional Mauritanian checkers (Dhamet), published by Lebjawi Tech LLC. This policy explains what the app handles.

What we collect

Display handle — a name you choose to play under. It is shown to opponents and used to keep your match history and stats. It is not linked to your real identity, email, or phone.

Gameplay data — moves, results, and timing of matches you play, stored to power replays and statistics.

We do not collect your email, password, contacts, precise location, or payment information. There are no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and the app has no chat.

How we use it

Solely to operate the game: matchmaking, live play, replays, and leaderboards/stats. We do not sell your data or use it to track you across other apps.

Data retention

Match history and stats associated with a handle are retained to provide replays and statistics. To request deletion, contact us at the address below.

Deleting your data

You can delete your data at any time — in the app via Settings → Delete my data (immediate), or by requesting it at 8amet.store/delete. We remove your profile and solo game history; in games against another player, your name is replaced with “deleted” so your opponent keeps their record.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and is not directed primarily at children. It collects no personal information beyond the chosen handle.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
